The exhibition will feature an exciting assemblage of works of art removed from Yuanmingyuan and other Peking Palaces in 1860 and 1900. Highlights include an extremely rare bronze horse head made for the horological clock at the Yuanmingyuan Summer Palace, Imperial jade seals and paintings of Imperial Bannermen. The program enriches students' knowledge about the society and provides career guidance on life after graduation. In connection with this mentoring program, Friends Unlimited has invited alumni from Stanford, Wellesley and NYU to join in the career workshop and to provide an opportunity to enlighten the students on options available after their university chapter. |
