The Northern California Chapter was established in 1985 and re-constituted in 1999 to encourage alumni participation with Stanford University and advocate for the needs and concerns of prospective, current, and past Stanford Chicano and Latino students. Our goals include: · Support a higher quality of educational programs that link students and alumni, maintain an alumni network, and that foster attainment of personal and professional goals for members and students. · Increase the levels of diversity within Stanford’s faculty, student body and staff. · Increase the number of Stanford multi-cultural programs that promote a better appreciation of California's diverse population. |
