| Due to limited space, RSVP IS REQUIRED AT http://tigernet.princeton.edu/~ffr-gala/sc_index.asp. Presented by FFR/Princeton BTGALA, Cornell University GALA, and New York Gallery Tours Cost: Tour - $20 at start of tour (3:30 to 5:30) Reception - No cover, cash bar (5:30 to 7:00) NOTE: The tour happens rain or shine. You'll be inside for most of it, so don't let the weather stop you! Join us on a gay and lesbian tour of the Chelsea galleries. Past tours have had a great crowd so don't miss this one! Since the art in the galleries changes continually, this tour will be completely different from prior ones. New York City is the world's center for contemporary art, and home to some of the finest art galleries anywhere. New York Gallery Tours' director Rafael Risemberg, Ph.D., visits over 200 art gallery exhibits each month in order to select 8 of the most fascinating and provocative ones for us to visit, in Chelsea and beyond. You'll see the very newest in painting, sculpture, electronic media and photography. At each stop on the walking tour, our guide explains the artwork and leads the group in lively discussion with a focus on art of interest to the LGBT community. We strongly encourage you to let us know if you will attend so we have a gauge of the size of our group. Like all of our events, all are welcome, but we especially welcome LGBT alumni from the ivy league and seven sisters schools, as well as our friends from Stanford, NYU, UVA, Duke, Williams, and Georgetown University. Feel free to bring your friends, boyfriends and girlfriends, but let us know a count as space is limited! Thanks to our tour guide Rafael Risemberg of Cornell University GALA and New York Gallery Tours. Rafael Risemberg, Ph.D., is the art critic for the New York Blade, a gay and lesbian newspaper. For more information, visit New York Gallery Tours at: http://www.nygallerytours.com/gay.htm Please note that the tour leaves promptly at 3:35pm and that there are other tours happening the same day that are listed on the NY Gallery Tours website. |

| OK - you've dealt with the Tax Man...Come spend your Bush Tax Refund (or cry in a glass of wine if you didn't get one) with your Austin/San Antonio FFR hosts Brian Smith (Stanford), Doug Plummer (Harvard), Danny Ramon (Univ of Texas) and Shawn Cowls (Princeton - in absentia) for a cocktail at Vino Vino, one of Austin's best wine bars. Make some new acquaintances and show your diversity by gathering with your LGBT university alums in the Austin/San Antonio area. Brian will wear a PINK shirt to make the group easy to find (he will carry a backup in his briefcase this time should he get waylayed by business travel). And as always, please feel free to bring your friends and partners with you! We love a crowd... Located in the Hyde Park neighborhood next to the Hyde Park Gym (look for the big bicep on the building), Vino Vino is broadening Austinites' wine palate with selections from Italy, Spain and other regions beyond the California region most of us know and love. Wine flights are available as well as an extensive tapas-style appetizer menu which can be paired with recommended wines. All of this is packaged in a warm, sophisticated modern space with wonderful ambiance. Learn what other Austinites think on Yelp! at: http://www.yelp.com/biz/vino-vino-austin 4.5/5 stars.
