  Our private docent-guided tour of this special exhibition will begin with coffee in the Peterson Room. Following our tour we will return to the Peterson Room to enjoy a catered bento-box lunch. Feel free to return to the galleries after lunch to visit at your own pace.

"Power & Glory: Court Arts of China's Ming Dynasty" marks the Asian Art Museum's first collaboration with three of China's most prestigious institutions: the Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Municipal Museum, and the Palace Museum (Forbidden City) in Beijing. Many of these 240 exquisite Ming Dynasty pieces are on view outside China for the first time.

Lunch: Choose from Tea-smoked salmon, Thai green papaya salad, Kung Pao chicken, Korean spicy pork, Grilled tofu and veggies

  Anthea Tolomei is a style and fashion educator who has spent over 17 years working with clients to help them define and develop their approach to personal style. In addition, she enjoys presenting interactive educational seminars to organizations such as ours. Anthea's presentation will focus on age-appropriate fashion for today's woman longing for renewed style yet recognizing that what worked at 39 doesn't work at 49, 59, or 69. She will share some inspiring guidelines that will change forever the way you see, buy, and wear fashion.

Reservation must be received by Tuesday, October 14.
